Edgar Daykin

A restaurant Extravaganza at Sycamore Close

Dressed and ready to give my opening speech.

Everyone was involved in this activity.
We planned, chose and cooked this very special lunch and I was asked to open the proceedings.
A fantastic day.

The Mayor of Askrigg

I now declare this meal well and truly ready to eat. Tuck in!

Bainbridge Sports early 1950s

Lady Edgar Daykin in the middle taking part in the fancy dress at Bainbridge Sports. We are all dressed as ladies and our theme was the Bainbridge choir at the Wensleydale Tournament of Song.
Happy days!

Me as Father Christmas at Sycamore Day Centre.

On Christmas Eve 2005 we had a great party with balloons, tricks, readings and pass the parcel and to finish we had an extra treat in the shape of Edgar Daykin one of our members.

Edgar did the father Christmas duties and delivered pressies to all our members. He is well used to the job as he has been Father Christmas to the children of Askrigg for many years.

'Much appreciated Edgar'
